Children’s Parliament of Macedonia takes a pleasure in announcing and
invite You to participate in Traditional International Children’s Camp "
Peace and Love for the Children " and Caravan of the Friendship "Dance
of Peace throughout Macedonia", wishing you a beautiful friendship and
organized sojourn (summer vacation) in Ohrid (city of the eternity) and
Macedonia, with introduction of theirs cultural, geographical and
historical heritage.
The Program and conditions are as follow:
-Traditional International Children’s Camp " Peace and Love for the
Children " should be held for fourth time starting on 29 June – 10 July
2005y. in Ohrid, in the Summer Camp "Univerzitetsko odmoralishte"
-Every country can have delegation with 10 participants. The
12-day’s stay is financed by Honorable President of Children’s
Parliament of Macedonia - Mr. Trifun Kostovski who is also
eligible Sponsor of the Summer Camp.
-The participants are obligated to be in charge of the travel
expenses to Skopje as well as from Skopje to Ohrid.
-There is a possibility of increasing the number of the scheduled 10
foreign participants’ free of charge stay. For those Countries that are
exceeding the scheduled number of participants, apart from the travel
expenses as mentioned above, they will be charged additional 120 Euro
for the 12-day sojourn in the Summer Camp.
-For all Guests and Participants from Foreign Countries there is an
open invitation to accompany the Caravan of Friendship with logo "Dance
of Peace throughout Macedonia" with especially scheduled itinerary
throughout several Macedonian’s cities. The itinerary will be send upon
request.
-Participation in The Caravan of Friendship, the Foreign Guests and
Participants are entitled to pay only the travel expenses in total of 20
Euro. The rest of the participants, exceeding the scheduled number of 10
participants per country, should cover the travel expenses of 20 Euro
and accommodation expenses of 100Euro for the whole itinerary.
-For the participants from Macedonia the amount for
participation of 12 days costs 6500 denars. In the costs is
included a one day trip with a boat to the monastery Sv. Naum. The
travel costs are not included. The payment can be fulfilled in cash with
tree instalments and: June, July and August. (The third instalments must
be paid on the Camp) or the payment could be fulfilled with cheque with
instalments in: June, July and August. There is an opportunity of
participation in seven days in the camp, with which the amount is
partial, and the payment is the same. There is an opportunity that the
transport could be organized and for that the participants are going to
be informed. The group leaders who are older than 21, and if they form a
group with 20 or more participants, get a gratis participation of 12
days.
- For prompt organization of transportation and accommodation in the
Summer Camp as well as throughout the Macedonian’s cities, we would
appreciate if you acknowledge your participation until deadline - 15th
of June or in special case dedline is 20 of June 2005y.

PROGRAM
For International
traditional children’s camp
“Peace and love for the
children”
29 June – 10 July 2005y,
Ohrid
Children’s parliament of Macedonia implementing the partnership for
cooperation (paper form World children’s summit held in 1999, Skopje),
its international cooperation implements trough organizing the Camp and
the Caravan with special program during the Camp.
FIRST DAY
Reception of the guests from other countries on 29 June in Skopje
at the morning (with breakfast) and departure at 10 a.m. for
Ohrid (with lunch and dinner). Also, the participants can directly
come in Ohrid on 29 June till lunch with their own transport.
Stay in Ohrid from 29 June – 20 July 2005y.
- 2nd and 3rd day - get knowing each
other, guests and the youth from Macedonia, members of the CPM.
In addition, there will be presentation of the Program for the camp
and the caravan. There will be activities for the Opening ceremony.
4th day - Opening ceremony of the Camp and the
Caravan from the patron and mayor of Ohrid and mayor of Skopje Trifun
Kostovski, some activities already prepared from the participants on the
Camp.
7th day - Trip to St. Naum with boat.
From 5th to 12th day there will be
realization of the program with activities and manifestations.
ACTIVITIES AND MANIFESTATIONS on the Camp:
Announce of Award competition for
all participants on the Camp (childrens from other countries and from
Macedonia), on these themes: “Peace and Love” & “From the folklore
treasury of the city or the country” (from people’s peasant art).
Participants can take part on the competition by literature work (poems,
prose and descriptive report), artwork, photography and handwork
(souvenirs, models and ornaments). For that purpose I, II and III award
will be given.
From all materials “Anthology from
child creative work” will be made. At the end of the camp art
exhibition will be organized and all work will be announced in the
newspaper of CPM and the Balkan newspaper. Participants can have already
done compositions for successful participating on the competition.
Work in workshops
In the workshops souvenirs from clay,
wood, glass and textile will be made. The main purpose of these
workshops is for the children and youth from the other countries to have
remembrances from Macedonia. For all hand made will be organized auction
on the Camp or on the Congress (from which will have benefits CPM or the
money will be given to the humanitarian goals). Part from the workouts
will be used as awards, recognition in special terms, concerts and
meetings.
3. DISCUSSION, DEBATES, WORKSHOPS, SHORT EDUCATIVE SESION
Debate on subject “Democracy and youth” - for sharing
experiences in process of learning democracy and its implementation in
the family, school and country.
Discussion on subject “In name of the generation” - actual
questions and works from participants on the Camp, based on their
interests and wishes.
Discussion for introducing with the work of the Children
parliament of Macedonia and other NGO’s from Macedonia and other
countries.
Workshops for preparation for the Balkan children’s
congress and forming of the BALKAN CHILDREN’S AND YOUTH PARLIAMENT,
which will take place on 27 – 30 October 2005 in Skopje, under
patronage of the president of RM Mr. Branko Crvenkovski and patron Mr.
Trifun Kostovski.

Short lessons on subject: project working, peaceful dealing with
conflicts, building peace and harmony, Europe integration.
Educative sessions - for children from Macedonian Diaspora and those
from Pirin, Eagean Macedonia and Pustec, with purpose for introduction
in the Macedonian history, especially for the project of CPM “Searching
the father’s roots”.
Organization of cultural and enjoyable life.
Beside the opening manifestation enjoyable nights with presentation
of country and city participants will be organized. Presence on the
nights with group from Ohrid culture summer. Bonfires at the start and
the end of the Camp. Intercultural evenings and other ideas for party
nights from the participants. Quizzes, best dance partners, face drafts
follow out with awards. Also, visit of the monastery St. Naum with boat,
where will be lecture about Kiril and Metodij and their students Naum
and Kliment.
Organization of sport life
Agency for youth and sport of Macedonia will give awards for the best
group who will participate in competitions: water games and swimming,
land games (tugging rope, caring water, walking in sack), football,
handball, basketball, beach volleyball and chess. On this Camp
competitions with other camps in neighborhood will be organized.
Closing of the Camp - with of a bonfire for separation and
fun. Giving the awards from the competition for literature work,
artwork, photography and handwork, also giving the awards for active
sport life from Agency for youth and sport of Macedonia.
Additional information’s:
· Official languages on the
Camp and Caravan are Macedonian and English.
· Travel costs from Skopje to
Ohrid are in amount from 6 Euro.
· Travel costs for the
Caravan trough Macedonia are in amount 20 Euro.
· 12 days sojourn at the Camp
for the participants outside Macedonia which number is 10 people is
free. For each participant more the cost is 120 Euro.
· Participants on the Camp
and the Caravan should be approximately 13 to 20 years old.
· Accommodation is in hostel.
· There is special day
program for every day and it needs to respect from all participants.
· On the Camp beside
responsible leaders, pedagogue and guides there is a doctor.

Caravan of friendship
“Dance of peace through Macedonia”
11-16 July 2005 year

First day: Ohrid-Biljan’s well, Prespa Lake, Resen, ancient
city Heraklea, Bitola.
In organization of CPM for Bitola, Struga,
Ohrid, Resen.
Second day: Krusevo - Meckin Kamen, Krusevo Republic monument
museum - first republic on the Balkan, Prilep - Marko’s towers, Veles -
city of bridges, museum and Koco Racin monument with lecture, monastery
St. Dimitrija.
In Organization of CPM for Veles and Prilep.
Third day: Kavadarci, Negotino, Vatasa, Gevgelija, Dojran -
Dojran Lake with visiting the monument for the children killed by the
Bulgarians fascists in II World War.
In Organization of CPM for Kavadarci, Negotino, Gevgelija.
Fourth day: Strumica, Berovo, Kocani, Stip, St. Nikole with
visiting the Lake Mladost and the monastery.
In Organization of CPM for Berovo, St. Nikole, Stip.
Fifth day: Delcevo, Kratovo, Kriva Palanka, Kumanovo with
visiting the monument of Goce Delcev and Osogovo monastery.
In Organization of CPM for Delcevo, Kratovo, Kriva Palanka.
Departure of the guests from abroad.
